Dana Robinson

Managing Partner, Verde

Dana is a serial entrepreneur, former attorney, and multi-exit operator with deep experience in post-acquisition transformation. He has acquired and grown businesses using his own financing, and fund capital. Dana served as GM of a private equity-backed HVAC rollup that scaled to a 10x exit in under three years. At Verde, Dana focuses on sponsor partnerships, deal engineering, and operator enablement. He is the lead architect of the PE School course curriculum and a frequent advisor to operators and emerging sponsors. He is a seasoned director, adding value through operational experience.

Gabriel Galvez

Managing Partner, Verde

Gabe is a seasoned capital markets expert and the founder of CAPTARGET, one of the largest outsourced deal origination platforms in the country. He has worked with hundreds of private equity firms and independent sponsors, helping them build pipelines and source acquisition targets. He’s also the founder of GP Partners and former CEO of Merger Labs. At Verde, Gabe leads sourcing, investor relations, and strategic growth initiatives. He brings a unique perspective on what makes a deal backable and how to build sponsor credibility.

Alan Baca

Managing Partner, Verde

Alan is the investor relations partner. He spent seventeen years in financial services (Alliance Bernstein 2012-2023) and commercial real estate (Jones Lang LaSalle 2006-2012). Managing Director responsible for a $2.7B Assets Under Management practice with more than $20MM in recurring annual revenue with a diverse mix of public and private investments. Over 24 years active and reserve military service in the US Navy leading diverse teams in conflict areas (1999-Present). Board of Directors, San Diego Air & Space Museum (2014- Present); US Navy Reserve, O6/Captain (1999-Present)

Jon Hamby

Managing Partner, Verde

Jon is a seasoned deal guy with 20+ years of experience getting deals done across multiple industries. Prior to co-founding Verde, he led a multi-family office focused on real estate and was a principal broker with Range Partners. Jon’s strength lies in building systems for diligence and integration across multi-entity rollups. At Verde, he leads the deal team through closing, and ensures that the integration team completes the tasks necessary to integrate acquisitions post-close.
